A Landmark Sports Destination in Singapore
Located in Kallang, Singapore, the Singapore Sports Hub is one of the country’s most significant integrated sports, entertainment and lifestyle developments. Completed in 2014, the complex was designed to serve international sporting events, concerts, exhibitions and everyday community activities.
Developed on a 35-hectare waterfront site, the Sports Hub brings together multiple sports and commercial facilities within a connected architectural environment. Its centrepiece is the 55,000-seat National Stadium, featuring a distinctive retractable roof.
Beyond the stadium, the development includes an indoor aquatic centre, a multi-purpose indoor arena, water sports facilities, retail spaces and public recreational areas.
The scale and diversity of the development made material coordination, construction planning and architectural integration important considerations throughout the project.

Supplying the Material Foundation for Architectural Aluminum
During the 2010–2014 construction period, YATAI supplied roller-coated aluminum coil to a project-related procurement partner.
According to YATAI’s internal historical sales and delivery summary, the cumulative supply volume associated with the project was approximately 1,000 metric tons.
As a source manufacturer, YATAI focuses on the coated aluminum coil that forms the material foundation of downstream architectural products. Through subsequent processing, pre-painted aluminum coil can be transformed into roofing materials, gutter systems, façade panels, aluminum sheets and other building components.
This upstream role connects coating technology with downstream fabrication, giving building-product manufacturers access to pre-finished aluminum materials suited to their processing requirements.
